How your balance works
Free and Dolphin use Ink based on the actual cost of each request. We use your plan allowance and any upgrade carryover before purchased Ink. An admitted request can finish even if its cost exceeds the Ink set aside for it; your balance never goes into debt.
When an upgrade takes effect, unused plan allowance carries over until the new plan's next renewal or expiration. At ordinary renewals, the plan allowance resets. Purchased Ink stays through upgrades, renewals and subscription cancellation.
Prices shown are US base prices for new subscriptions and Ink purchases. Your store displays the local price and applicable taxes before payment. Annual savings compare the US Whaler price with 12 monthly payments; savings in other currencies may differ. Existing Whaler subscribers also receive unlimited AI. Normal technical and abuse protections apply.
