Ineffa build & teams (account-aware)
Ineffa is the other 5★ on the Phase 2 Character Event Wish, paired with Flins. She is an off-field Electro: a shield, Electro application, and Lunar-Charged damage. This page is that role, the weapon and artifact direction, the team shapes, and a pull-or-skip checklist. Not a damage chart, and not a chamber guide.
Talent caps are KeqingMains’ reading of the in-game kit, not a client check on 21 Sep 2026. Community guides date her original release to Version 5.8, so this Wish is a return — that release patch was not re-opened on the official news page for this edit. The Phase 2 window itself is the official notice.
Role
Community (KeqingMains): Ineffa is a 5★ Electro Polearm played off-field. Her Skill deals one Electro hit, deploys a shield that scales with ATK, and summons Birgitta, who attacks nearby opponents and applies Electro on a long duration. Her Burst refreshes Birgitta. When Lunar-Charged thunderclouds are nearby, Birgitta’s extra hit is direct Lunar-Charged damage, and KQM treats that as most of her personal damage. She converts Electro-Charged into Lunar-Charged, raises that reaction’s base damage from her ATK (the same style of cap they quote elsewhere in this kit family: 14% at 2000 ATK), and raises the party Moonsign by one level. Her Burst also gives her and the active character Elemental Mastery based on her ATK.
She is not only a Flins accessory. KQM also lists her as the shield-plus-Electro option for other Lunar-Charged on-fielders, and as a Hyperbloom or Overloaded trigger if you build Elemental Mastery instead of the Lunar-Charged plan below. Those are different artifact plans. The default on this page is the off-field Lunar-Charged build.
Weapons and artifacts
Weapon direction is Community (KQM). Fractured Halo is her signature: a Lunar-Charged damage bonus and an ATK buff tied to her shield. Community recaps of this phase’s Epitome Invocation list it with Flins’s Bloodsoaked Ruins — confirm in-game before you spend on the weapon banner. Staff of the Scarlet Sands is the next 5★ they cite; its EM-to-ATK passive does not feed the ATK her ascension passive uses for the EM buff, and the reverse is also true. Deathmatch or Ballad of the Fjords are the strong 4★ stat sticks if you already own them. Prospector’s Shovel is the craftable: competitive when the team is at Ascendant Gleam, and weaker when she is the only Nod-Krai character.
Artifact direction (KQM): 4-piece Aubade of Morningstar and Moon for her personal damage, especially with a second Moonsign character. 4-piece Silken Moon’s Serenade if nobody else is holding it — the set buffs the party’s Elemental Mastery and Lunar Reaction damage, and her Skill keeps the effect up, which lets her wear a damage set instead. 4-piece Gilded Dreams is the placeholder. Tenacity of the Millelith is for when you are deliberately trading her damage away for a shield-support build. Main stats: Energy Recharge only until the rotation you actually play can Burst — they often prefer Bursting every other rotation rather than stacking ER once the requirement climbs past roughly 140%. Then CRIT, ATK%, Elemental Mastery. Sands and goblet ATK% (EM when the piece is clearly better). Circlet CRIT. Level 90 first. The reaction scales with level, and the shield wants the ATK from levels. After that, Skill matters for the shield. Leave Normal Attack at 1.
Team archetypes
Lunar-Charged needs Hydro on the enemy. She wants to stay off-field. A second character who raises Moonsign makes Ascendant Gleam, which is where her best gear effects turn on. None of that picks the four names on your account.
Archetype A — off-field for Flins. Ineffa, Flins, a Hydro applier, and a buffer who does not wipe the Electro–Hydro aura. Aino is the Hydro 4★ on this banner and also a Nod-Krai character. Columbina is KQM’s premium Hydro if you have her. This is the paired-banner shape.
Archetype B — a Lunar-Charged shell without Flins. Ineffa, off-field Hydro, and an on-fielder who can live on an Electro–Hydro team. KQM cites on-field Hydro drivers and Anemo drivers such as Sucrose for Swirl plus EM share. Add a second Electro such as Fischl when her Energy is short. Still not a universal best team. It depends who you have leveled.
Archetype C — shield and EM support only. If the on-fielder just needs the shield and the EM buff, KQM says a full ATK build is enough and a damage set is optional. Do not farm Aubade for a character you will not use for damage. Featured 4★ on the official notice, besides Aino: Iansan (Electro) and Lan Yan (Anemo). Iansan shows up in KQM as an ATK option for a niche on-field Ineffa. Lan Yan is an Anemo flex, not a required slot.
Pull Ineffa or skip
Same official window as Flins: 2026/9/1 18:00 – 2026/9/22 14:59 (UTC+8) on the Phase 2 Event Wish notice. Trust the in-game countdown. The build below survives the banner. The pull does not.
- Pull if a Lunar-Charged team you will actually play is missing off-field Electro, a shield, or the second Moonsign level.
- Skip if you already own her. Community guides date her debut to Version 5.8, so this is a return. Constellations are a separate purchase; this page does not rank them.
- Skip if you have no Hydro applier. Lunar-Charged does not happen without Hydro on the enemy.
- She shares pity and guarantee with Flins’s banner (Official Help Center). Choosing Ineffa spends the same guarantee.
- The official 4★ on the notice are Aino, Iansan, and Lan Yan. Pulling a 5★ only to fish a 4★ is still how pity gets wasted — do it only when the 5★ job above is also empty.
- Sync HoYoLab before you spend. Luminary can see whether the shield and the Electro application are already covered by someone you have built.
Questions, answered.
Community (KeqingMains): 4-piece Aubade of Morningstar and Moon for personal Lunar-Charged damage, or 4-piece Silken Moon’s Serenade when she is the one holding that party buff. ATK% sands and goblet, CRIT circlet, Level 90, Fractured Halo or the best polearm you own (Staff of the Scarlet Sands, Deathmatch, Ballad of the Fjords, or Prospector’s Shovel at Ascendant Gleam). Build Energy Recharge only for the rotation you play. A shield-only ATK build is the other honest option if her damage does not matter.
The shape is off-field Lunar-Charged: Ineffa, a Hydro applier, and an on-fielder — Flins is the paired-banner version, not the only one. She also shields and shares EM. If you cannot field Hydro, she does not do the job this page describes. Luminary maps the slot onto who you synced from HoYoLab.
Only if the off-field Electro and shield job is actually empty. They share Character Event Wish pity, so the second 5★ is another guarantee, not a free partner. Aino on the same notice can be Flins’s second Nod-Krai and his Hydro. The official window ends 22 Sep 2026, 14:59 UTC+8.
