Flins build & teams (account-aware)

Flins is the on-field Electro Polearm on the current Character Event Wish. This page is the role, the weapon and artifact direction community theorycrafters actually use, and the team shapes that make the kit work — then a checklist for whether your account should pull. It is not a tier list and it does not list Abyss chambers.

Talent caps (the 2000 ATK breakpoints, Energy costs, Moonsign percentages) are KeqingMains’ reading of the in-game kit. This page did not re-open the character screen on 21 Sep 2026. The Wish window is the official notice. Weapon-banner names are a community recap — confirm them in-game.

OfficialCommunity

Role

Community (KeqingMains): Flins is a 5★ Electro Polearm and an on-field Lunar-Charged damage dealer. His Skill enters Manifest Flame — Normal and Charged Attacks convert to Electro, and a special Skill opens a shorter Burst, Thunderous Symphony. KQM’s talent notes put that short Burst at 30 Energy against 80 for the full Burst, and treat the short Burst as the damage core because it can be used twice per Skill state at C0. Leaving the field ends the Skill state, so his teammates need to do their work off-field.

Two passives set the build, again from KQM’s quotation of the in-game text. His ascension passive grants Elemental Mastery equal to 8% of his ATK, capped at 160, which is 2000 ATK. His Moonsign Benediction converts Electro-Charged into Lunar-Charged and raises that reaction’s base damage by 0.7% per 100 ATK, up to 14% at 2000 ATK. He also raises the party’s Moonsign by one level. A second Nod-Krai character is what pushes the team to Ascendant Gleam. KQM’s testing says a team where Flins is the only Nod-Krai character performs far worse — his kit and his best artifact set both expect that second level.

Weapons and artifacts

Weapon direction is Community (KQM), not an official HoYoverse ranking. Bloodsoaked Ruins is his signature polearm: offensive stats, a Lunar-Charged bonus, and an Energy refund that lowers how much Energy Recharge you have to build. Community recaps of this phase’s Epitome Invocation list it next to Ineffa’s Fractured Halo — confirm the featured weapons on the Wish screen before you spend. Staff of the Scarlet Sands is the 5★ alternative KQM ranks next; its CRIT Rate plus the CRIT Rate from 4-piece Night of the Sky’s Unveiling at Ascendant Gleam can overcap, so check the pieces you own. Deathmatch is the usual strong 4★ if you already have it, and it falls off into groups. Prospector’s Shovel is the Nod-Krai craftable and the best fully free option they cite, with a Lunar-Charged bonus that wants Ascendant Gleam.

Artifact direction (KQM): 4-piece Night of the Sky’s Unveiling. At Ascendant Gleam the 4-piece grants CRIT Rate and a party-wide Lunar Reaction damage bonus. 4-piece Gilded Dreams, or 2-piece mixes of ATK%, Elemental Mastery, and Energy Recharge, are placeholders while you farm — not the goal. Main-stat order they recommend: Energy Recharge until the two short Bursts actually happen, then CRIT, then ATK%, then Elemental Mastery. Sands ATK% rather than EM in most cases, because his own passive and his teammates already give him EM. Goblet ATK%, not an Electro DMG Bonus goblet — most of his damage is Lunar-Charged, and that does not scale with Electro DMG Bonus. Circlet CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG, whichever fixes the ratio after the set’s CRIT Rate. Level 90 before the last talent levels; the reaction portion cares about level. Talent order: Burst, then Skill. Normal Attack is low priority.

Team archetypes

These are shapes, not a ranking of your account. KQM’s constraint is the one that matters: Lunar-Charged, a second Nod-Krai character, off-field Hydro, and usually a second Electro so the Energy is realistic. One teammate should hold 4-piece Silken Moon’s Serenade.

Archetype A — Flins with Ineffa. Ineffa is the off-field Electro they highlight: a shield, particles, an EM buff, Lunar-Charged buffs, her own damage, and the second Moonsign level. Add off-field Hydro and a buffer or grouper who does not eat the aura. Aino is the Hydro 4★ on this banner. Columbina is the premium Hydro in KQM’s later notes, if you already own her. This is the paired-banner shape. It is not a requirement to own both 5★.

Archetype B — Flins without Ineffa. Aino can be both the second Nod-Krai character and the Hydro applier. Pair her with an Electro battery such as Fischl and a support in the last slot; Sucrose is the Anemo EM share KQM still cites. Iansan, also on the Phase 2 notice, is an ATK buffer if you can keep her mechanic up — that is a community role, not an official team. Lan Yan is the featured Anemo 4★ on the same notice. Community lists her as an Anemo flex, not as a core.

What this page will not do is name one best team, or tell you the September chamber list. The community lean for Floor 12 this Lunar Phase is Swirl, then Electro-Charged — that lives on the September Abyss page, and it is a hint you confirm in the in-game preview.

Pull Flins or skip

The Character Event Wish window on the official Phase 2 notice is 2026/9/1 18:00 – 2026/9/22 14:59 (UTC+8). Trust the in-game countdown if this page disagrees. After the Wish ends, the build directions still apply. Only the pull decision expires.

  • Name the empty job in one sentence. Flins is an on-field Lunar-Charged driver. If someone you have already built fills that job, skip.
  • Check for a second Nod-Krai character you will actually play (Ineffa, or Aino from this banner). KQM’s testing says a solo-Nod-Krai Flins team performs far worse. If you cannot field that second character, skip.
  • Check off-field Hydro. Aino is on the banner. If you have no Hydro applier you are willing to build, the team does not function.
  • Character Event Wish and Character Event Wish-2 share pity and guarantee (Official Help Center). A wish on Flins spends the same pity as a wish on Ineffa.
  • Do not pull because a guide called a team the best. Sync HoYoLab in Luminary and see whether your roster is missing this job.

Questions, answered.

Community (KeqingMains), not an official ranking: 4-piece Night of the Sky’s Unveiling, ATK% sands and goblet, a CRIT circlet, enough Energy Recharge to use his short Burst twice, and Bloodsoaked Ruins or the strongest polearm you already own (Staff of the Scarlet Sands, Deathmatch, or the craftable Prospector’s Shovel). An Electro DMG Bonus goblet is a miss for this kit. Your pieces can change the order — that is the account-aware check.

There isn’t one team for every account. The archetype KQM describes is Lunar-Charged: Flins, a second Nod-Krai character (Ineffa or Aino), off-field Hydro, and a support or battery. If you do not own that second Nod-Krai character, copying a Flins–Ineffa clear will not work. Luminary answers it from the roster you sync via HoYoLab.

They share Character Event Wish pity (Official). Pull Flins if you need an on-field Lunar-Charged driver and can field a second Nod-Krai character plus Hydro. Pull Ineffa if you need the off-field Electro, the shield, and the Moonsign partner — including for a Flins you already own. Pulling both only makes sense when both jobs are empty. The official window closes 22 Sep 2026, 14:59 UTC+8; trust the in-game countdown.
